Oh Jessica Jessica is a Melbourne-based animation artist who loves narrative storytelling. She creates cute, quirky, characters with loads of attitude, and nostalgic illustrations that tug at the heart strings.
Jessica graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Masters of Film and Television (Animation) in 2013. She has worked as an animator and character designer for Melbourne studios Viskatoons and Moshi Studios, specialising in 2D animation. Most recently, Jessica has been showcasing her art at major conventions across Australia.
At the core of her work is the desire to tell a story. Whether it’s by creating a quirky character in enamel pin form, or a moody, colourful illustration, each piece aims to elicit an emotional connection. This year will see Jessica branch into indie comics, posting her own characters and stories for the first time!
Jessica works as a freelance animator, illustrator, and character designer.
